Fiat and Raghunter

What is it about beautiful fashion and beautiful cars?

It's probably that they go together like the sun and sea, like cheese and wine, like hummus and tabbouleh.

There's an undeniable similarity about wearing clothes that just fit, the same way driving some cars just feels right. You slip on the dress and before you even look in the mirror you go: "YAS". You get into the car and before you even turn on the ignition you go: "HOW MUCH".

Having said that, working with Fiat to feature the 60th anniversary worldwide limited edition Fiat 500, was just that feeling.

We are so honored to present Raghunter's take on the incredibly cool and fashionable Fiat 500 that just arrived to the city.

Oh and by the way, Lebanon received 10 units of the car, out of only 560 exclusive numbered limited editions produced worldwide (and 60 in the Middle East).

SO, if you're crazy excited and need to get in touch with Fiat right now, call them at 01 877 222 or visit their Dora showroom.

Fiat and Fashion

The Fiat 500 is much more than just a car: in 60 years it has become an authentic pop icon, a symbol of Italian style that never goes out of fashion.

The special edition itself has maintained it's classic vintage-link beauty but with a modern twist that makes it relevant on the streets today.

In more ways than one, the Fiat 500 is forever young.

When thinking about a local fashion brand that truly relates to this Fiat 500, there are some options (we know them well because as Raghunter, our job is to showcase the coolest local fashion designers and boutiques across Beirut city). But only one was a true match (the right fit!): Vanina.

Vanina's collections are always reminiscent of the vintage days: the 60's pale color palettes, the polka dots, the crop tops and flowy maxi skirts.

As the Vanina designers described themselves, "Our collections have always been inspired and routed by the elegance and sophistication of Lebanon's early sixties. You can feel it in every piece of our collections, since the very beginning. It's a dreamy era of beauty, sophistication and attention to detail."

Which brings us to Fiat and the city.

Fiat and the City

We rode the limited edition Fiat 500 around Beirut city and visited spots that were also very much, forever young.

Those small streets that are embellished with deep history, but that always re-emerge as modernized versions of their old selves.

The celebration of this true automotive icon continues with the special 60th Anniversary Series, an exclusive numbered limited edition that pays tribute to the original 500 with a unique style that’s a contemporary reinterpretation of some of the style details that made it famous, such as the vinyl dashboard, the vintage logos that adorn the exterior and interior, plus the chrome finish on the bonnet.

Powered by a 4 cylinder, 1.4-litre 100 horsepower engine coupled to a robotic Dualogic gearbox, and exclusively available as a convertible, the Fiat 500 special 60th Anniversary Series features evocative new dual-colour ‘Dolce Vita’ paintwork - three-layer White for the body of the car and pastel Ivory for the bonnet and pillars. The grey and burgundy waist rail and grey hood enhance this unique colour combination.

The panache of this special series is further enhanced by its many cool aesthetic details, such as chrome mirror caps, special 16" lightweight alloy wheel rims and a dedicated logo - 560, with a red "6" and "0" in the last two figures of the 500 logo. This exclusive badge adorns the pillar and also appears on the chrome sill and the numbered limited edition nameplate.

The interior also boasts retro details, including the tubular elements of the seats in ivory leather with contrasting burgundy seams, which match the central part of the dashboard, and the bespoke dual-colour car mats.

But the tribute to the past is only skin deep: in terms of technology, the 60th Anniversary Series offers the very best of everything available today when it comes to technology and on-board comfort. Standard features include a leather gear stick knob and steering wheel with built-in commands, 7" Uconnect™ touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, satellite navigation and USB and Aux In ports, 7" thin-film transistor (TFT) cluster display, automatic climate control, fog lights and rear parking sensors.

Learn more about the limited model by calling Fiat on 01 877 222 or visiting the Dora showroom.
